Electric Vehicle Charging Points – Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire
In November 2011 we installed 12 x SunPower 300w “all black” panels for a customer in Stratford-upon-Avon.
They have been very pleased with the system as it has generated over 12% more FREE electricity than we estimated reducing their energy bill by over a third and providing a tax free, index linked income.
With energy saving in mind they have continued to invest in energy saving devices including LED lighting, lighting controls & a Solar iBoost which diverts surplus self-generated electricity to the immersion heater to heat hot water reducing their heating fuel bill.
Their latest venture is the purchase of an electric car. As we are an OLEV (Office of Low Emission Vehicles) accredited installer they have been able to claim a grant to fund an electric charging point that has been installed in their garage.
The result is they will be paid to fuel their car for FREE!!!!!!!
