They had peak levels of energy usage when cranes were being used but also periods of low usage. The 49.70kWp system using SunPower Maxeon 2 350w Panels could cover the usage which when coupled with 3 x Tesla Powerwalls allowed for the site to store energy when usage was low to use later.
The Solar system comprised of 142 panels each optimised by SolarEdge to provide maximum generation and panel level monitoring for reduced future O & M costs.
The 3 Tesla Powerwalls provide 40.5kWh of Storage and charge/discharge rate of up to 15kW.
The whole system has provided over 54% of the site’s electricity requirements since Installation.
