Solar Panels in Warwick perform 15% above estimates
One year on this Solar Photovoltaic system installed in Warwick has performed 15% above estimated generation.
To maximise generation we had to overcome two hurdles:
- Small roof area
- Early morning shading
The small roof area was not a problem for us as we are Premier Partners with SunPower; the world standard for Solar. Their world leading E20 327w panel meant we only required 10 panels for 3.27kWp.
The influence of early morning shading was reduced by using a SolarEdge inverter & power optimisers. The power optimizers increase energy output from PV systems by constantly tracking the maximum power point (MPPT) of each module individually. Furthermore, the power optimizers monitor the performance of each module and communicate performance data to the SolarEdge monitoring portal for enhanced, cost-effective module-level maintenance.
Result – over 15% more FREE electricity generated than estimated helping to reduce the client’s energy bills as well as providing a 20 year tax free income!!!
