Tesla Powerwall powers home, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire
For the month of May 96% of the electricity & 100% of hot water was provided by Solar for one of our clients in Stratford-upon-Avon.
During the day SunPower high efficiency Solar panels generate electricity powering the home. Any surplus electricity is then sent to the Tesla Powerwall battery system to be used at a later time in the day when the Solar is no longer generating enough, or no electricity. Once the battery is full, surplus Solar energy then powers the immersion heater to heat the client’s hot water using an Immersun control.
The result is only 10kWh of electricity have been purchased from the grid and there has been no gas consumption.
