Workplace EV Charging grant increases to potential £10,000
Last week it was announced the Workplace Charging grant would increase to £500 per socket and workplaces can now claim multiple times.
Act fast though as funding is only available on a first come first served basis for a maximum of 8,000 sockets or until 31st March 2019, whichever comes first.
The key points:
- All new vouchers issued from 24th July will receive £500 discount per socket on eligible charging equipment.
- Businesses already in possession of £300 voucher that has not been claimed against, can withdraw it and reapply to get the higher contribution.
- Businesses can now submit a multiple voucher application subsequent to their first application.
- With a maximum of 20 sockets being claimed per business.
