Expanding Renewable Energy from EV Chargers to Solar Panels
After completing EV charger installations for The Myton Hospices, Stratford Energy identified an opportunity to deliver further energy savings with commercial solar panels. We installed solar systems across three hospice locations in Warwick, Rugby, and Coventry.
Tailored Solar Installations Across Three Sites
Each solar panel installation was designed to meet the unique energy needs and roof space of the individual hospice. As a result, every site benefits from maximum efficiency and long-term savings.
Warwick Solar Installation: 23.49 kWp SolarEdge System
Firstly, at Warwick, we installed a 23.49 kWp SolarEdge system across two buildings. The SolarEdge technology ensures full monitoring and optimised energy generation, guaranteeing the system operates at peak performance.
Ongoing Support with Commercial Solar Maintenance Contracts
In addition, Stratford Energy provides annual solar maintenance contracts. These include continuous monitoring, proactive fault detection, and direct communication with manufacturers to resolve any issues quickly.
Rugby Solar Installation: Overcoming Shading and Space Limits
At Rugby, the restricted roof space required a smaller 6.48 kWp system. Moreover, shading from nearby trees presented a challenge. The SolarEdge system proved ideal here, allowing each panel to work independently and generate maximum power despite shading.
Coventry Solar Installation: 82.215 kWp Multi-Roof System
Finally, at Coventry, we delivered the largest system in the project. An 82.215 kWp commercial solar installation was completed across four roofs, with 203 high-efficiency solar panels. This provides significant renewable energy generation for the site.
SunPower Panels and SolarEdge Inverters for Maximum Transparency
Across all locations, we installed SunPower Performance panels and SolarEdge optimised inverters. As a result, staff can monitor energy performance in real time through a mobile app or desktop dashboard, ensuring full visibility and control.
