So what did we do?

Antonia had her first system installed at the start of 2023. We installed 12 SunPower panels with a SolarEdge Home Battery. This allowed Antonia to generate on her south-west roof and store any surplus in the storage battery.

Antonia then expanded her system in October 2023 by installing an additional 6 SunPower panels on north-east aspect, allowing for early morning generation, especially in the winter months.

Antonia’s peak power is now a whopping 7.23kWp.

How much has Antonia saved?

Antonia can now produce her own energy, in 2023 she generated 3670kWh! Her total consumption was 6190kWh, meaning she cut her energy bills 60% from Solar generation alone. Having battery storage allowed her to store surplus energy, but also import from the grid at a reduced rate on an off-peak tariff. Therefore the additional energy she required was purchased for a fraction of the cost.

Having recently had solar panels and a storage battery installed by Stratford Energy Solutions I’d strongly recommend this company to you.I started considering a solar system some months ago and having spoken to friends who already had one I shortlisted 2 companies to get quotes from, one being Stratford Energy Solutions. From the beginning of the process the people I spoke to were helpful and informative and it became clear to me they were more knowledgeable than the other company I was considering. A particular shout out in this regard to Georgia Howson, the Operations Manager.Having decided to go ahead with them they pulled out the all the stops to get the system in by the end of the year so I could benefit from a deal that was on offer from the battery supplier. They organised the scaffolding company (who were great BTW) and then their installation team of 4 arrived the day after to complete the work. Without exception all of the installers were polite, hard-working and clearly knew what they had to do, which the did very professionally. Having successfully completed the job by 4pm they left everything neat and tidy, with the scaffolders returning two days later to remove their three scaffold installations.Without doubt the whole experience was stress-free and at all times Stratford Energy Solutions did what they said they’d do.Yours truly…one very happy customer.

Excellent service throughout, helpful and friendly, no hard sell. Installation day was amazing, work completed in less than 6 hours, the team were all polite and respectful, high standard of workmanship, neat and tidy. The system seems to be working well so far; I'm looking forward to longer and sunnier days.Scaffolding company used were also efficient and polite; erected the afternoon before installation and removed 2 days later.

I would highly recommend Stratford Energy Solutions!From start to finish. The communication, organisation and information/advice from the office/clerical team was excellent.The installation team were exemplary, they turned up at the time stated, they were polite, tidy and respectful of the property. They were all great ambassadors for the company.The wiring is neat, tidy and largely invisible, the panels are perfectly symmetrical and everything is level. The whole installation looks better than I could have wished for.

We found Stratford Energy Solutions Ltd really easy to work with throughout the whole process of quotation, preparation for installation and installation and post installation. The staff installing on the day were quick and professional and polite. They responded quickly to emails and phone calls and kept us up to date. The system has been installed for two months now and is performing really well. There was no messing about in the initial quotation phase but they were open to some negotiation. The other national companies we dealt with tried the hard sell approach but we didn't get that with Stratford Energy Solutions. Ultimately, we feel we got a better quality system than offered by the other national companies and although more expensive it was competitively priced.
