Residential Referral Voucher – Terms & Conditions

1. About these terms

These terms govern the Stratford Energy Solutions residential referral voucher programme (the “Programme”). By making a referral under the Programme, a referrer agrees to these terms. A referred person does not become responsible for these terms merely because they have been referred.

The promoter is Stratford Energy Solutions Limited (“SES”, “we”, “us”), company number 07401473, whose registered office is Unit 2, 1 Avenue Farm Industrial Estate, Stratford-upon-Avon, England, CV37 0HR.

The Programme begins on Monday 21st September 2026 and will continue until withdrawn in accordance with section 10. It is separate from Stratford Energy Solutions’ six-monthly £500 referral reward draw, which has its own terms and conditions.

Only referrals received by Stratford Energy Solutions on or after  Monday 21st September 2026 are eligible for the Programme.

2. The voucher

An eligible referrer will receive one £150 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card when a person they refer places a qualifying confirmed residential order with Stratford Energy Solutions and all conditions in these terms are met. The voucher is guaranteed when those conditions are met; it is not a prize or competition entry.

3. Who may participate

A referrer must:

  1. be aged 18 or over;
  2. be an existing Stratford Energy Solutions residential customer whose eligibility we can verify from our customer records; and
  3. make the referral personally and not in the course of acting as a professional introducer, affiliate or agent, unless Stratford Energy Solutions has agreed a separate written arrangement.

Stratford Energy Solutions employees, directors and contractors, and members of their households, are not eligible. A customer may not refer themselves, another buyer for the same property or a person in the same referred household.

There is no routine limit on the number of genuine referrals an eligible customer may make, but only one voucher is available for each different referred household and its initial qualifying order.

4. How to make a referral

The preferred route is for the referrer to share the Stratford Energy Solutions referral page at www.stratfordenergy.co.uk/refer. The referred person must then submit their own details and identify the referrer.

Alternatively, the referred person may contact Stratford Energy Solutions directly by telephone or email, provide the required information and identify the referrer.

Stratford Energy Solutions will not accept contact details supplied by a referrer on behalf of another person and will not contact a prospective customer solely because a referrer has provided their details.

A referral must contain enough accurate information for Stratford Energy Solutions to identify both the referrer and the referred person. The referred person should identify the referrer when making the initial enquiry. If this is missed, Stratford Energy Solutions may accept the identification within 14 days of the initial enquiry, provided that the referred person confirms it and Stratford Energy Solutions records it before issuing a proposal.

5. What counts as a valid referral

A referral is valid only where:

  1. the referred person is a homeowner or is directly involved in the purchasing decision for the relevant property;
  2. the property is within the Stratford Energy Solutions residential service area at the date of referral, defined as within 40 miles of the Stratford Energy Solutions registered office at Unit 2, 1 Avenue Farm Industrial Estate, Birmingham Road, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 0HR
  3. the property appears, following Stratford Energy Solutions’ initial assessment, reasonably capable of accommodating a residential solar or battery solution offered by Stratford Energy Solutions;
  4. the referred person has agreed to be contacted by Stratford Energy Solutions;
  5. the referred person has not made an active enquiry, received a proposal or had substantive sales discussions with Stratford Energy Solutions during the six months before the referral; and
  6. the referral is genuine, complete and made in accordance with these terms.

A person will not be excluded merely because their details appear in an Stratford Energy Solutions marketing or historic customer record. Stratford Energy Solutions will assess validity from the relevant enquiry and sales history, acting reasonably.

A valid referral remains attributed to the referrer for 12 months from the referred person’s initial enquiry. If no qualifying confirmed order is reached within that period, the referral expires.

6. Duplicate and household referrals

If the same person or household is referred by more than one customer, the voucher will normally be allocated to the first valid referral recorded by Stratford Energy Solutions and confirmed by the referred person.

One voucher is available for a referred household and its initial qualifying order. Joint purchasers, amendments to an order and additions agreed before installation do not create additional vouchers. Stratford Energy Solutions will not disclose one referrer’s identity or referral activity to another when resolving a duplicate claim.

7. Qualifying residential orders

The Programme applies to the following new residential orders:

  1. solar panels;
  2. integrated solar and battery systems;
  3. battery retrofit or expansion; and
  4. solar-panel expansion or a substantial system upgrade.

It does not apply to standalone EV charger orders; servicing, repairs, remedial or warranty work; commercial installations; or any order that is rejected, cancelled or does not obtain a required technical or financial approval.

A “qualifying confirmed order” is reached only when:

  1. the referred customer has signed the contract;
  2. Stratford Energy Solutions has accepted the order;
  3. the applicable cooling-off period has ended without cancellation;
  4. any required finance and technical approvals have been secured; and
  5. the required deposit has cleared.

8. Issuing the voucher

Stratford Energy Solutions will normally email the £150 Amazon.co.uk Gift Card to the referrer within 30 days after the order becomes a qualifying confirmed order. The referrer is responsible for providing and checking a current email address. Stratford Energy Solutions may take reasonable steps to verify the referrer’s identity and contact details before issue.

There is no cash alternative. If an Amazon.co.uk Gift Card cannot reasonably be supplied, Stratford Energy Solutions may, after notifying the referrer, provide an alternative voucher of the same value.

Amazon.co.uk Gift Cards are subject to Amazon’s applicable terms, including expiry and redemption restrictions. Amazon does not sponsor or administer this Programme and is not responsible for it.

If an order is cancelled or fails before it becomes a qualifying confirmed order, no voucher is due. Stratford Energy Solutions will not normally seek to recover a correctly issued voucher because of a later problem with the project. Stratford Energy Solutions may, however, withhold or recover a voucher obtained through fraud, material misrepresentation or an evident administrative error.

9. Referrer conduct

A referrer makes an informal personal introduction only. A referrer must not:

  1. claim to represent or act for Stratford Energy Solutions;
  2. make promises, quotations, technical statements or guarantees on Stratford Energy Solutions’ behalf;
  3. use misleading, aggressive or unsolicited marketing methods; or
  4. submit personal information without the person’s permission.

Stratford Energy Solutions may reject a referral or withhold a voucher where it has reasonable evidence of abuse, false information, a lack of consent or a material breach of these terms. Stratford Energy Solutions will consider any dispute fairly and may ask for reasonable supporting information.

10. Changes or withdrawal

Stratford Energy Solutions may withdraw the Programme or change these terms for future referrals by publishing reasonable notice. A change will not normally affect a valid referral recorded before the change took effect. If an exceptional event outside Stratford Energy Solutions’ reasonable control makes the Programme impracticable, Stratford Energy Solutions may make the minimum change reasonably necessary, while seeking to avoid unfairness to participants.

11. Personal information and confidentiality

Stratford Energy Solutions will use personal information to register and administer referrals, contact the referred person, manage any resulting sales enquiry, verify voucher eligibility and prevent fraud. Further information is available in the Stratford Energy Solutions privacy notice at www.stratfordenergy.co.uk/privacy-policy.

Stratford Energy Solutions may tell the referrer whether their referral has qualified for a voucher, but will not disclose the referred person’s assessment, property information, proposal, finances, decision or other confidential information.

12. Tax

The recipient is responsible for any personal tax liability arising from a referral voucher. Stratford Energy Solutions does not give personal tax advice and does not promise that the voucher is tax-free.

13. Responsibility for the voucher

Stratford Energy Solutions will use reasonable care in purchasing and sending the voucher. Once issued, use of the Gift Card is governed by Amazon’s terms. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Questions and complaints

Questions, eligibility queries or complaints should be sent to hello@stratfordenergy.co.uk, with the referrer’s name and enough information to identify the referral. Stratford Energy Solutions will review the relevant records and respond within a reasonable period.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that a participant living elsewhere in the United Kingdom may retain any right to bring proceedings in their local courts under applicable consumer law.
